Description
The Allen Bradley 1756-A10 is a chassis specifically built for use within the ControlLogix series. This component provides the framework to house up to 10 slots for I/O modules under the Bulletin 1756 classification. Together with compute modules from the same bulletin, it offers versatile configuration options for industrial automation needs.

The design of the 1756-A10 includes three tabs on the top and three on the bottom, facilitating secure mounting when incorporated into control systems. Users can employ SEM screws or Phillips screws for installation, as well as utilize flat washers, star washers, or split-lock washers to enhance stability.

Importantly, the chassis does not include a conformal coating, which should be considered based on the intended application environment. Housed within an open enclosure, it allows easy access and maintenance. The maximum permissible backplane current for the entire chassis is limited to 15 amps at 5.1 volts DC, while individual slots can handle up to 6 amps each.

With operational capabilities across a temperature range of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius, the 1756-A10 chassis can function reliably in various conditions, making it a critical component for robust control applications.
