The 1783-MS10T switch is a Stratix 8000 managed switch. It comes with up to 8 Ethernet copper ports and 2 Combo ports.

Manufactured By Allen-Bradley, the 1783-MS10T switch is a 10-port Stratix 8000 managed switch. The unit comes with a total of 8 Ethernet copper ports, while the number of Ethernet combo ports is 2. The combo ports (copper/SFP) feature 10/100/1000 Mbps of speed. The unit also features two dual-purpose ports with the SFP slots and it is a Layer 2 switch. The Stratix 8000 series managed switches come in different expansion modules, and the common expansion modules include the Fiber, STP, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) modules. The 1783-MS10T switch supports common IT configuration and control tools. The included IOT configuration tools include the Command Line Interface, the CAN, and the Device Manager tools. Moreover, the 1783-MS10T switch includes the default configurations that are relevant for the industrial automation and the EtherNet/IP devices.

The 1783-MS10T switch comes with an inrush current of 2.0 Amps maximum. The unit features a switch input rating at a maximum of 2 Amps at 18 to 60 Volts DC, CL2/SELV. The rated power dissipation is 15.7 Watts. The ambient operating temperature range is rated at -40 to 60 degrees Celsius, while the ambient non-operating temperature is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity range is 5% to 95%, non-condensing while the maximum vibration is 2 G at 10 to 500 Hertz. The 1783-MS10T switch provides a secure switching infrastructure that is important for harsh operating conditions. The unit supports different network devices, including the servers and the routers, and it integrates with other switches. For industrial applications, the 1783-MS10T switch can be connected through an Ethernet-enabled industrial communication device. It supports connections to programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, drivers, sensors, and different I/O.
